Mary Valde

Mary Valde is a mixed media artist based in Port Dover, Ontario, whose work is deeply inspired by the beauty of gardens, flowers, and the natural world. Originally from Mississauga, Mary spent many years building a successful career in real estate before retiring and fully embracing her lifelong passion for art.

Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, Mary creates expressive, layered pieces that reflect both creativity and personal joy. Her artistic journey began as a hobby, but retirement gave her the opportunity to dedicate herself more seriously to developing her craft. Today, her studio has become both a creative sanctuary and a place of comfort and inspiration.
