Chris Van Trigt

Chris has lived in Port Dover for thirty of the last forty years

Chris became a millwright through the Stelco apprenticeship program but after a life changing auto accident, he needed something to take up his time. 

He started to paint buildings and lighthouses. While on trip to Prince Edward Island, he was commissioned to paint six lighthouses for a poster by the East Point Lighthouse Association.

Chris now has begun to paint other objects such as animals and fish tugs
