Ally Bryant

Ally (Alison) is a self taught textile artist. Her journey began in 1977 when
she emigrated to Canada and was introduced to quilting. She has always sewn,
learning at an early age from her mother.
For 26 years she owned her own business while raising her family. Upon
retiring she returned to her love of fabric, colour and design.
She has been thread painting for over 12 years. Ally sells her work in various
places and also does commission work. Her inspiration comes from the
countryside, nature, pets and also many scenes from her homeland England
and her travels.
